Islamic products and services provided or promoted by SG DIFC as being Shari’a compliant have been reviewed by SG DIFC’s Shari’a Supervisory Board and approved through the issue of a fatwa confirming the Shari’a compliance of the Islamic financial product or service described. Such a fatwa will be obtained from the Shari’a Supervisory Board and/or one or more of its approved scholars or ad hoc scholars, as the case may be, and in accordance with the DFSA’s Islamic Finance Rules.

Product subscription and Investment services provision (as may be arranged by SG DIFC and provided by Societe Generale)

In accordance with its legal and regulatory requirements (particularly under the Market in Financial Instruments Directive (“MiFID”)), and depending on the type of financial instruments involved, Societe Generale may be required to verify that the financial instruments are suitable or appropriate to client investment objectives, financial situation, knowledge and experience.
